Established in 1992, the Fumee Lake Natural Area has over 1800 acres used in a wide variety of non-motorized activities including; Birdwatching, Photography, Trails suitable for Horse Back Riding, Snowshoeing, Running, Walking and Bicycling.

Piers Gorge White Water Rafting/Kayaking/Hiking

Pine Grove Country Club
One of the oldest clubs in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Pine Grove Country Club offers a quality course in a pristine northwoods environment.  Located on the outskirts of the city of Iron Mountain, the course weaves through stands of old growth white and red pine, oaks and maples.  The challenging terrain features an 84-foot elevation change, lending to spectacular views. Four sets of tees offer options for all levels of golf.  Pine Grove is a semi-private golf club, open play is available to guests Thursday through Monday.
